Our house was built in 1998 and incorporates many features that we came to appreciate while living overseas:  10 foot ceilings on the first floor, gourmet kitchen, and a wonderful, wooden Japanese soaking tub in the master bathroom.  We also included a massive fieldstone fireplace in the great room which soars nearly 30 feet high!

 

The great room, sun room and eat-in kitchen overlook trees and a stocked 50-acre trout pond. Gourmet kitchen features cherry cabinets, granite counter tops, gas stove in island, and ceramic tile floor.  Separate wet bar with clear ice maker, wine cooler, keg cooler, granite countertops and cherry shelves.

 

The master bedroom is located on the second floor and access the  first floor master bath with its Japanese tub by way of a private circular staircase.  It also has its own private deck looking out to the pond.

 

Also on the second floor are three bedrooms, sharing a large bathroom with separate bath, toilet and sink areas. On the third floor is a large loft with skylights for sleepovers, hobbies, etc.

 

Walk-out basement is partiallly finished with a family room with fieldstone hearth, large bedroom and 3/4 bath.  Unfinished part of the basement has a work shop, lots of storage with large double-door access  to the outside to store a motor cycle, jet ski, lawn equipment, etc. as well furnace with dual air handlers, large water heater and pool heater for the Japanese bath.

 

The six-acre property also features a well-appointed one bedroom guest cabin with wood floors and its own fieldstone fireplace, plus a deck and heated screened porch. Barn has three stalls, run-in area, tack room, garage area for equipment storage and hay loft.  Pastures are fenced with split rail fences and electric wire.
